Mr. Prieto brought a potential safety issue reported to him: ‘Lawns’ bus stop area; junction of Newcomb and Ridgewood; This is a Ben Franklin Middle School students bus stop; Maybe a bus stop sign is needed here to give a heads up to drivers; Would be a good place as a reminder to drivers to stop; Pre-planned school bus stops; these are reviewed by the Ridgewood Police Department, BOE, and the bus company et als. Ms. Brogan and the PD were previously involved in similar signs at Oak Street, which were cited as an example of a potential solution from Mr. Prieto. Mr. Prieto will follow up on this matter by speaking with the relevant Ridgewood Police Department/Traffic Officers. ( See attached photos)
