Ridgewood Access Committee Meeting Minutes 11212019

Ridgewood's Community ACCESS Committee 
Meeting Minutes November 21, 2019 

The meeting was opened at 7:35 p.m. 
Present: Ines Bunza, Robin Ritter, Lisa Gardner, Erica Dunckley, Lori Kislevitz 

Item 1: Welcome 
Ines welcomed everyone to the meeting. Minutes from the September meeting were approved. Motion by Robin, second Lisa, and motion carried. 
Lisa mentioned that there were no balance sheets yet for the ACCESS Committee. 

Item 2: Housing 
Ines had received a telephone call from Jack Dean, who had met with Tom Taranto from United Way. UW will begin to pay rent to Jon Saracino beginning March 1. The Sealfon's space has been gutted. Tom still does not seem concerned about the $500,000 shortfall needed for the project. 

Item 3: ACCESS Weekend Review 
Ines read an email from Deanna Schablik. It was decided that an email list of all committee members would be a good idea. 
There are cups and water bottles in the kitchen left over from this past weekend. 
The dates for the 2020 weekend are: 10/9, 10, 11. 
Karin Sheehy also contributed some suggestions, reducing the number of performances being one. 
Robin suggested that there be a chain of command for the weekend, so people know who to contact with questions or issues that arise during the events. 

Item 4: New Business 
Jim Thebery is retiring. We discussed various gift ideas -- perhaps something from Edible Arrangements and Things Remembered. Erica said that she would visit the latter and make some recommendations. 

The next meeting is January 16, 2020 at 7:30 pm in 1st floor Seniors' Lounge Village Hall
