Ridgewood's Community ACCESS Committee 
Meeting Minutes July 16, 2020 

The Zoom meeting was opened at 2:35 p.m. 
Present: Ines Bunza, Robin Ritter, Jan Philips, Joanne Van Sant, Lisa Gardner, Joanne Stolfo, Deanna Schablik, Jesse Schwartzman and Erica Dunckley 
Item 1: Welcome 
Ines welcomed everyone to the meeting. Minutes from the June meeting were approved. Motion by Joanne V.S. to accept, seconded by Lisa and motion carried. 
Item 2: Finance 
Regarding reimbursement for expenses, Deanna said that no checks went out until Feb. this year. So if you send receipts in towards the end of the year you won't be reimbursed until Feb. Checks are sent at the middle and end of the month. If you plan to use a credit card, Bob Rooney needs to approve it beforehand and be given a copy of it as well. 
Item 3: Housing 
Mayor Susan Knudsen called Ines this morning. She related to her that there is a small shortfall in funds for the Sealfons renovation project. But it is not going to be a problem. She is meeting with the village attorney shortly to discuss it. Also, she met with the fair share housing people for low-cost housing and how to apply. This applies to our group also. The applicant's income and asset limitation is considered. Important to have an ABLE account for this reason. 
Item 4: ACCESS for All Weekend -- Laptops 
Ines spoke with Supt. Dan Fishbein regarding donating older laptops to Joanne's group homes. Unfortunately this won't be possible because they have to be turned in at the end of the school year. They are used for parts. 
Joanne posted on the Ridgewood Moms and Dads' Facebook page to see if people could donate laptops. 
The Post 21 Club www.post21club.org\ an autism organization has an iPad fund. So this may be a possible source. They have several different resources, in addition to iPads. 
The next Zoom meeting is Thursday, Aug. 20 at 2:00 p.m.
