Field Meeting

I. Approval of Minutes – June 7, 2022
Motion to approve - all in favor.
II. Public Comment
Siobhan Winograd – follow up on Schedler. Concerned about public information being limited, information that is given is not being executed. Requested more support from the committee.
R. Brooks – when Schedler is complete it will not provide enough field space.
Carolyn Holt – concerned about field maintenance, flooding and an update on the scheduling app. A group is needed to escalate flood issues to county and state level.
K. Cook – looking into turf blankets for Somerville, BF and Brookside for the winter months.
N. Bigos – training over the summer for Daysmart Recreation. Decision will be made by next meeting if this program will roll out.

IV. Fall Field Schedule
K. Cook – minimal impact on the fall schedule.
V. Village Master Plan Adoption September 20th at 7:30pm
B. Lasky – requested support from the committee at this meeting.
VI. Fall Facility Maintenance
K. Cook – grass fields are sparse, looking into turf blankets. Most of the equipment will be locked due to unauthorized individuals using equipment.
M. Andreula – no broadleaf application this fall due to drought.
VII. RHS Sports Schedule/Fall 2022
VIII. New Business
K. Cook – discussions about the new platform Master Library, replacing School Dude. Miscommunication and scheduling conflict with Master Library and the BOE.
