Please join the Ridgewood Health Department and Lukin Center for Psychotherapy Tuesday, December 12th at 7 PM for a presentation on Maintain Mindfulness.  Heather Flaherty, LSW, from the Lukin Center for Psychotherapy will be speaking about mindfulness, what it is, and how it can positively support one’s mental health both in our daily lives and during times of heightened stress - like the upcoming holiday season!  There will be Q+A to follow, so join in with questions!

The Ridgewood Stigma-Free Committee invites you to participate in our, “Cards of Joy” campaign.  This campaign entails individuals writing letters to those who may need extra cheer or are alone during the holiday season!  Please see the attached flyer for more information.

You can drop off your cards at the locations written below. Please drop-off your cards no later than Monday, December 11th.

Join Unicity Healthcare for a FREE presentation and discussion on hoarding! You will learn what defines a hoarding disorder, causes and risk factors, and ways to help those who are hoarding.  This event is being hosted by the Ridgewood Health Department and Ridgewood Parks and Recreation at Village Hall (131 N. What is Long COVID?  Join Valley Health System, the Ridgewood Health Department and community partners on Thursday, June 22nd at 10:30-11:30 AM for an educational workshop on Long COVID!  Presenters include Susan Breithaupt, LCSW Health Educator, Social Worker and Rachelle Morales, MSN, RN-BC, CTN-A, Community Health Nurse Educator.  This workshop will be held at the Annie Zusy Youth Lounge in Ridgewood (131 N. Maple Ave). Lunch will be provided.
