Planning Board Public Meeting Minutes 20170905

The following minutes are a summary of the Planning Board meeting of September 5, 2017. Interested parties may request an audio recording of the meeting from the Board Secretary for a fee.

Call to Order & Statement of Compliance with the Open Public Meetings Act: Mr. Joel called the meeting to order at 7:40 p.m. Following members were present: Mayor Knudsen, Joel Torielli, Richard Joel, Councilman Jeff Voigt, Melanie McWilliams, Mr. Van Goor, Ms. Barto, and David Scheibner. Also present were Christopher Martin, Esq., Board Attorney; Village Planner Brigette Bogart; and Board Secretary Michael Cafarelli. Mr. Rutishauser, Ms. Altano, and Ms. Patire were not present.

Public Comments on Topics not Pending Before the Board – None were reported

Committee/Commission/Professional Updates – Mr. Joel reported on the Master Plan sub-committee.

Correspondence received by the Board – Mr. Cafarelli reported none was received.

200/210 South Broad Avenue, LLC,  Preliminary and Final Major Site Plan and C Variance, Block 3905, Lot 6 and 7 – Application was carried to November 7, 2017.

Stacy Tsapatsaris, Minor Subdivision and C Variance, 144 North Murray Avenue, Block 2104, Lot 2 and 3.06 – Application was carried to November 7, 2017.

Robert Jennee, Minor Subdivision and C Variance, 246 Mountain Road, Block 209, Lot 13.01- continued from August 1, 2017 without further notice and without prejudice to the Board –Application was carried to October 17, 2017.

Draft Report Hudson Street Redevelopment Designation – Ms. Bogart provided the Board with an overview of her draft report. She said the plan was to have the document finalized and on the September 19, 2017 Planning Board agenda. Ms. Bogart said there were eight criteria for an area to be eligible for redevelopment and said only one of the eight had to be met. Ms. Bogart recommended Board members review the plan and send her any comments or suggestions so she can have the final document ready for the September 19, 2017 Planning Board meeting.

Adoption of Minutes: The minutes from October 4, 2016 and October 18, 2016 were adopted as written.
