VILLAGE OF RIDGEWOOD E-NOTICE

Please be advised that the Zabriskie-Schedler Park Project is moving forward. 

Today, the Village of Ridgewood submitted an application to the State Historic Preservation Office and the Historic Sites Council regarding this long-awaited project.

The application seeks approval for a multipurpose public park to be built on the site, which is consistent with the intention of park development when the Village purchased the property in 2009. We are confident this application balances our need for additional recreational and athletic space, which has been exacerbated by recent flood events, while maintaining the historical element of the Zabriskie House.
