‍2024 Budget Presentation

‍On Wednesday evening, the Village Council introduced a $61.2 million current fund operating budget and unanimously voted to approve the budget for final passage at the April 10 Village Council Meeting. The budget comes with a 2.74% increase in the municipal tax rate, which is below the current rate of inflation. View the full budget presentation. 

‍The Mediterranean Diet

‍What's all the fuss about the Mediterrean Diet? Find out at the Ridgewood Library on Tuesday, March 19 at 10:00 am. Danielle Fabrizio from Valley Health System will talk about why it's one of the most popular lifestyle recommendations today. Call 201-670-5500, ext. 2312 to register. 

In observance of Good Friday, all Village offices and departments (except emergency services) will be closed on March 29. There will be no garbage or recycling pickup on that day. The Recycling Center also will be closed on Good Friday, but will be open on Saturday, March 30 from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. 

‍‍It's an annual tradition - Easter at Memorial Park in Van Neste Square! Bring the kids for an Easter Egg Hunt, photo opportunity with the Easter Bunny, live music, vendor giveaways, treats and more. The fun starts at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 30. Hop on over! 

‍camp registration opening

Summer Day Camp registration opens on Monday, April 1 at 8:30 am. The six-week program, for children entering first through sixth grades in the fall, runs from June 24 through August 2, 9:00 am to 1:30 pm. Camp always reaches capacity, so visit Community Pass to sign up your children ASAP! 

‍Pre-season registration for Graydon Pool badges and tennis/pickleball badges begins on April 1 on Community Pass. Pre-season sales also will take place at the Stable, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. 

‍Shredding confidential documents has never been easier. You don't even get out of your car! Simply come to the Graydon Pool parking lot on Saturday, April 6, 8:00 am to noon, with a maximum of five boxes of documents. Visit the Village website for more details. 

‍Bring the whole family to this fun, educational event! Enjoy goat yoga, a petting zoo, a "recycling magician," live music, educational displays and programs, demonstrations and crafts, and more. Leashed dogs and their owners are invited to dress in costume and join the popular Daffy Dog Parade at 12:30 pm!
