The LEAP program started with the assistance of the "Recreational Opportunities for Individuals with Disabilities" grant in an effort to adapt the programs offered by the Recreation Department to fit the needs of all individuals.  Each month spotlights a new topic and introduces participants to a skill or knowledge they may not have tried or had access to. Past classes have focused on art, music, pickleball, skateboarding, cooking, Community Service, gardening, swim instruction, and junior lifeguarding.
