March 19 UPDATE: Bergen County Drive-Thru Coronavirus Testing Center
With the help of FEMA, New Jersey’s first government-run drive-thru coronavirus testing center is set to open Friday, March 20, at Bergen County Community College in Paramus, located at 400 Paramus Road. The site will operate from 8am - 4pm.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Initially, tests will be conducted only for people experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.
• Respiratory illness symptoms include fever, cough, and shortness of breath. Anyone not exhibiting those symptoms will not be seen a the facility.
• Proof of New Jersey residency is required.
• No preregistration or doctor's note is required.
• Health care workers and emergency responders will be their first priority.
• Workers at the Bergen center will only collect samples. Actual testing will be done at laboratories elsewhere.
• The facility is capable of receiving 2500 specimens a week.

NJ 211 is now activated to help handle COVID-19 related calls from New Jersey residents. NJ 211 is New Jersey’s statewide, comprehensive, information and referral service operated by United Way of New Jersey.
Residents can call also text “NJCOVID” to 898-211 to receive text information and stay informed. To receive live text assistance, residents can text their zip code to 898-211.
