The Ars Musica Chorale presents its annual performance of Handel’s Messiah on Friday, December 12, at West Side Presbyterian Church, 6 S. Monroe St., Ridgewood, NJ, at 8 pm. One of Bergen County’s favorite holiday traditions, this year's performance of Handel's beloved masterpiece also includes beautiful settings of holiday favorites both old and new, including “Deck the Halls,” “O Christmas Tree,” and “The Holly and the Ivy.” Ars Musica Composer-in-Residence Joshua Groffman provides an original work sure to join the canon of holiday favorites.
Be sure to join Music Director Dusty Francis, Joshua Groffman, and several of the evening's featured performers at 7 pm for a Preconcert Holiday Party. Enjoy complimentary refreshments and a toast to the season all while being serenaded by acclaimed harpist Diane Michaels.
