On Saturday, February 28th at 8:00 pm we present the folk music of Spook Handy:
"Spook really understands how to write a good song that says something important." - Pete Seeger
"A real troubador in the style of Pete Seeger and Phil Ochs." - Jim Beckerman, Bergen Record
"In each moment of human history, average and amazing people find a way to sing out that is somehow nostalgic, optimistic, heart-breaking and empowering at the same time. Spook's songs embody the same intellectual rattle and simple honesty that have characterized so much of Pete Seeger's career." - Kim Ruehl, About.com
