Statement required by the Open Public Meeting Act “Adequate notice of this meeting has been provided by a posting on the bulletin board in the Village Hall, by mail to the Ridgewood News, The Record and by submission to all persons entitled to same as provided by law of a schedule including date and time of this meeting”.
Please note: A curfew of 11:00 PM is strictly adhered to by the Zoning Board of Adjustment of the Village of Ridgewood. No new matter involving an Applicant will be started after 10:30 PM. At 10:00 PM the Chairman will make a determination and advise Applicants as to whether they will be heard. If an Applicant cannot be heard because of the lateness of the hour, the matter will be carried over to a future meeting to be determined by the Board at 10:00

Old Business:
NNAEMEKA & MORYKA ANADU – An application to permit the construction of two window dormer additions to the attic which will result in a building height of 39 feet, where 30 feet is permitted; a front yard setback of 35.2 feet, where 40 feet is required; a side yard setback of 8.2 feet, where 26 feet is required; and gross building area of 38.5%/4,347 square feet, where 32%/3,616.3 square feet is permitted at 155 Highland Avenue, Block 2503, Lot 18, in an R-1 Zone. (Continued from September 29, 2020; Carried from January 26, 2021, without further notice)
JAMES TRIPP – An application to permit the replacement of an existing rock wall with a block wall in the same location which will exceed the permitted height and install a 4-foot fence on top of the wall, which will exceed the maximum permitted height at 33 Bryden Place, Block 1905, Lot 4 in an R-2 Zone. (Continued from December 8, 2020, without further notice) (Carried from February 9, 2021 without further notice)
New Business:
ANTHONY & EMILY DePASCALE – An application to permit the construction of side steps which will result in a side yard of 13 feet, where 15 feet is required, and aggregate side yards of 30.3 feet, where 34.5 feet is required; and for the construction of a one story addition which would result in total coverage by above grade structure of 22.4% where 20% is permitted; and for the construction of a second story addition which would result in gross building area of 30.2% where 29% is permitted at 566 Highland Avenue, Block 2809, Lot 4, in an R-110 Zone.
JENNIFER DeANGELIS – An application to permit the installation of an in-ground pool and patio, which would result in a front yard setback to the patio of 28 feet, and to the pool of 37 feet, where any patio and pool shall be prohibited in the front yard, and shall be located from the front lot line a distance not less than 50 feet at 329 Cantrell Road, Block 2506, Lot 6, in an R-125 Zone.
