Music in Ridgewood 2015

Understand and discuss classical masterpieces prior to their live performances in the Ridgewood area. This spring local residents will be treated to a rich array of live concerts by local musical organizations.  If you are planning to attend any of these concerts or if you simply want to learn more about classical music, please join our class. We will listen to recorded excerpts of these masterpieces, and learn about their historical and artistic contexts.  The moderator will stimulate discussion on why these compositions are perennial favorites. All levels of music literacy are invited – open to both performers and listeners.

The course will be held at Ridgewood High School during three Wednesday evenings in March.
