SEEKING RIDGEWOOD RESIDENTS TO VOLUNTEER TO SERVE ON VARIOUS BOARDS AND COMMITTEES

The Ridgewood Village Council is looking for residents who are interested in volunteering to serve on the following Boards and Committees:  Planning Board, Zoning Board of Adjustment, The Central Business District Advisory Committee, The Ridgewood Community Center Advisory Board (two members are needed with a child in the Ridgewood School system), The Ridgewood Arts Council, the Shade Tree Commission, Green Ridgewood, and the Ridgewood Green Team.

The Planning Board reviews site plans and subdivision applications; prepares, adopts, and amends the Master Plan; makes recommendations to the Village Council regarding amendments to developmental regulations and the official map.

The Zoning Board of Adjustment hears variance applications and appeals from rulings and determinations arising from the enforcement of Village zoning ordinances.
