STORM IDA, GARBAGE AND BULK REFUSE PICKUPS

Storm Ida has left the area.  Our Village employees who worked through the night on Village buildings that flooded and assisted residents with flooding issues at their homes, did a wonderful job.  Village employees and service contractors are also working diligently to get Village Hall and the parking lot ready to open again, to staff and the public.  All Village offices will remain closed tomorrow, 9/3/2021, so that this continued cleanup can be accomplished.

GARBAGE AND BULK REFUSE PICKUPS

Due to the fact that many of you have items that were damaged/destroyed in the flooding, beginning on 9/3/2021 through 9/10/2021, you may put out bulk items on your regularly scheduled garbage collection days, in addition to your regular bulk pickup days. In order to facilitate this, we ask that all residents bring their garbage cans to the end of their driveways from 9/3/2021 through 9/10/2021.

Due to the fact that garbage pickup on 9/2/2021 was not completed on the West Side today, our crews will resume collection on the West Side on 9/3/2021. In addtion, the garbage pick up on the East Side will be done on 9/3/2021 as well.

The Recycling Center will remain closed until 9/7/2021, due to the fact that the parking lot flooded and it is still in the process of being cleaned up.

We thank you for your patience and your continued cooperation.

Stay safe and be well.
