06/07/2023 - RIDGEWOOD AIR QUALITY NOTICE

As of 9 AM on June 7^th, the air quality in Ridgewood has been declared as unhealthy.  With this declaration, the following is recommended:

People with heart or lung disease, older adults, children and teens:

• Avoid strenuous outdoor activities.
• Keep outdoor activities short.
• Consider moving physical activities indoors or rescheduling.

Everyone else: Choose less strenuous activities, shorten the amount of time you are active outdoors, or be active outdoors when air quality is better.

For June 8^th , the New Jersey Department of Health is claiming that the air quality is unhealthy for sensitive groups.  This means those with heart or lung disease, the elderly, and the young should limit strenuous activities and the amount of time active outdoors.
