For the duration of the Coronavirus Health Emergency, Village Hall is closed to the public and meetings are held with participants at remote locations, connecting to conferencing software provided by zoom.us. Members of the public are invited to view meetings live using the Zoom client, which also allows them to “raise a hand” and contribute with voice and video when they are invited to do so during public portions of the meeting.

Statement required by the Open Public Meeting Act “Adequate notice of this meeting has been provided by a posting on the bulletin board in the Village Hall, by mail to the Ridgewood News, The Record and by submission to all persons entitled to same as provided by law of a schedule including date and time of this meeting”.
Please note: A curfew of 11:00 PM is strictly adhered to by the Zoning Board of Adjustment of the Village of Ridgewood. No new matter involving an Applicant will be started after 10:30 PM. At 10:00 PM the Chairman will make a determination and advise Applicants as to whether they will be heard. If an Applicant cannot be heard because of the lateness of the hour, the matter will be carried over to a future meeting to be determined by the Board at 10:00 PM.

MARGARIDA PEDROSA – An application to demolish a one car detached garage and enclosed porch and construct a new one story addition, covered porch and new detached one car garage which will result in a side yard setback to the addition of 12.1 feet, where 15.33 feet is required; coverage by above grade structures of 24.91%, where 20% is permitted at 243 Van Emburgh Avenue, Block 5004, Lot 18 in an R-1 Zone. (Continued from June 29, 2020 without further notice)
New Business:
DANIEL PIRRMANN – An application to permit the construction of a front porch which will result in coverage by above grade structures 25.31%, where 20% is permitted and a side yard setback to mechanical equipment of 8.6 feet, where 10 feet is required at 247 Oak Street, Block 1919, Lot 7, in an R-2 Zone.
VICTOR SANCHEZ – An application to permit the construction of a covered front portico, covered porch, and an attached one car garage which will result in a front yard setback on Randolph Place of 28.85 feet, where 45 feet is required; a front yard setback on Christopher Place of 28.85 feet, a side yard setback of 9.79 feet, where 10 feet is required, and coverage by above grade structures of 25.62%, where 20% is permitted at 11 Randolph Place, Block 2310, Lot 8, in an R-2 Zone.
GARY OGILBY & ANNA DiMAIO - An application to permit the construction of a rear 2½ story addition with covered porch and patio which will result in a side yard setback of 11.3 feet, where 19.3 feet is required at 326 Grandview Circle, Block 2608, Lot 14 in an R-1 Zone.
