18-242 Award Partial Contract – Southside Reservoir Rehabilitation (NTE $450,000) – Awards a contract for the total base bid to the lowest responsible bidder, Brave Industrial Paint, LLC, 177 Elmwood Avenue, Long Branch, NJ
18-243 Award Contract – Ames Tank Rehabilitation (NTE $515,000) – Awards a contract for the total base bid to the lowest responsible bidder, Brave Industrial Paint, LLC, 177 Elmwood Avenue, Long Branch, NJ
18-244 Amend Current Contract – Pipes, Appurtenances, and Service Materials (NTE $250,000) – Amends the amount of the current contract to provide for additional funds for the low bidder for supplies for the Ridgewood Water Blow-off Project. This low bidder is Water Works Supply Company, 660 State Highway 23, Pompton Plains, NJ.
18-245 Award Professional Services Contract – Passaic Valley Water Commission Pipeline Project ($149,175) – Awards a Professional Services Contract to Suburban Consulting Engineers, Inc., 96 U.S. Highway 206, Suite 101, Flanders, NJ. The required Pay to Play forms have been filed with the Village Clerk’s Office.
18-246 Award Professional Services Contract – W-4 Licensing Coverage for Ridgewood Water (NTE $16,500) – Awards a Professional Services Contract from August 1, 2018 through December 31, 2018 to Marucci Engineering Associates, LLC, 116 Whippany Road, Whippany, NJ
14. ORDINANCES – INTRODUCTION
3662 - Amend Chapter 265 – Vehicles and Traffic – Parking Meter Times at Train Station and Regulate Multi-Space Parking Meter Use – Amends this chapter to include parking at the train station from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, for a total of 14 hours and from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, for a total of 8 hours. Also regulates multi-space parking meter use.
3663 – Amend Chapter 265 – Vehicles and Traffic – Parking on Overbrook Road – Prohibits parking at all times on the north side of Overbrook Road from North Irving Street to North Van Dien Avenue. Also prohibits parking on the south side of Overbrook Road from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday from Northern Parkway to North Van Dien Avenue.
3664 – Amend Bond Ordinance – Reappropriation of Funding for Stretchers for EMS – Reappropriates funding from refurbishment of suspension for an ambulance to funding for the purchase of two load stretchers
3665 – Bond Ordinance – One Hook Lift Body with Accessories – Parks Department (NTE $58,000) – Appropriates this funding for the acquisition of a hook lift body with all accessories
3666 – Amend Chapter 265 – Vehicles and Traffic – Bus Stops – Amends the Village’s current bus stop ordinance to add bus stops, with their locations and bus stop identification numbers
3667 – Amend Chapter 190 – Land Use and Development - Allow Displays in Central Business District – Establishes regulations for placing displays in the CBD outside of stores and restaurants. Also creates a permitting process for the displays.
3668 – Amend Chapter 190 – Land Use and Development – Permitted Encroachment of Stairs into Rear Yard – Establishes criteria for encroachment of stairs into the rear yard of residential zones
3669 – Amend Chapter 190 – Land Use and Development – Front Yard Setback in the B-1 and B-2 Zone Districts – Establishes minimum dimensions where there are no adjacent buildings to provide the required front yard setback, in the B-1 and B-2 Zone Districts

18-257 Designate Redeveloper and Approve Guaranteed Maximum Price – Redevelopment Zone - Hudson Street Parking Lot/Parking Garage (NTE $10,992,000) – Conditionally designates Epic Management, Inc., 136 Eleventh Street, Piscataway, NJ as the redeveloper of the Hudson Street Redevelopment Zone (The Hudson Street Parking Lot). Also approves the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) of a redevelopment project (parking garage) to be constructed at the Redevelopment Zone (the Hudson Street Parking Lot).
18-258 Declare Property Surplus – Police Bulletproof Vests – Declares bulletproof vests from the Police Department surplus property and authorizes the Village Manager to dispose of them
18-259 Approve Replacement of Bus Shelter at Van Neste Square – Approves the replacement of the bus shelter at Van Neste Square with six Type D shelters, which will be connected together
18-260 Award Contract Under Bergen County Contract – Western Star Chassis (NTE $109,051) – Awards a contract under Educational Services Commission of NJ Cooperative Purchasing to Hudson City County Motors, 614 New County Road, Secaucus, NJ
18-261 Appoint Member to Ridgewood Arts Council – Appoints Max Viola as a member of the Ridgewood Arts Council for a term that expires on June 30, 2019
