16. ORDINANCES – INTRODUCTION
3672 – Amend Chapter 3, Administration of Government - Article VIII -Residency Requirements for Civilian Titles – Amends this Chapter of the Ridgewood Village Code to require Ridgewood residency for persons hired for all non-competitive and competitive civilian titles(titles which are not sworn officers in the Police and Fire Departments). Also establishes a sequential hiring process for persons who are not Ridgewood residents, if a Ridgewood resident is not qualified for the civilian title.

18-281 Declare Property Surplus – International Hook Lift and Autocar Packer – Declares a 2002 International Hook Lift and a 1998 Autocar Packer surplus property and authorizes the Village Manager to dispose of this property
18-282 Declare Property Surplus – IT Equipment – Declares various IT equipment surplus and authorizes the Director of IT to dispose of said property
18-283 Approve Debt and Financial Management Policies for the Village of Ridgewood – Approves policies which include Debt Management; Fund Balance Management; Maintenance of Debt and Financial Management; and an Annual Review of the plan in order to align financial capacity with long-term service objectives
18-284 Accept Donation from Conservancy for Ridgewood Public Lands – Children’s Sensory/Butterfly Garden – Accepts a donation from the Conservancy for Ridgewood Public Lands of a Children’s Sensory/Butterfly Garden located adjacent to the outdoor classroom at The Stable
18-285 Approve Person to Person Liquor License Transfer – Granova, Inc. to Patpar, Inc. -Approves a person to person plenary retail distribution liquor license transfer from Granova, Inc., t/a Cordially Yours to Patpar, Inc., t/a Cordially Yours Liquors
18-286 Establish Trial Period and Permit Fee for Outdoor Displays in Central Business District – Establishes a nine-month trial period for the outdoor displays in the Central Business District, from October 2, 2018 through June 30, 2019 at a permit fee of $75
18-287 Authorize Cleaning of Grove Park Area by the Ridgewood Wildscape Association, the Ridgewood Environmental Advisory Committee and Associated Partners - Authorizes these volunteer groups to clean the Grove Park area, along with a Public Awareness Campaign, on October 14, 2018. The Village Engineer has reviewed the proposal, the groups have agreed to certain safety precautions, and the resolution is adopted pursuant to Title 59.
18-288 Affirm Class 6 Rating Through the National Flood Insurance Program’s Community Rating System – Affirms the Village of Ridgewood’s Class 6 Rating for the Community Rating System, which will save Village residents 20% on their flood insurance premiums
