Pursuant to Chapter 3-19 of the Code of the Village of Ridgewood, Manner of Addressing Council, and Chapter

3-20, Decorum, the Village Council meetings shall be conducted in the following manner:

 

Manner of Addressing Council

 

Persons other than Council members may be permitted to address the Council in the proper order of business. A person present may, upon recognition by the Chair, be heard either upon ordinances upon second reading or at the time of petitions and oral communications from the public and at such other times as the Council may, by majority vote of those present, specifically permit. No person shall address any remark or question to any specific Council member, nor shall any person be permitted to address the Chair while a motion is pending. A Council member may, through the Chair, respond to any communication or address received pursuant to this section.

 

Decorum

 

Any person who shall disturb the peace of the Council, make impertinent or slanderous remarks or conduct himself in a boisterous manner while addressing the Council shall be forthwith barred by the presiding officer from further audience before the Council, except that if the speaker shall submit to proper order under these rules, permission for him to continue may be granted by a majority vote of the Council.

3922 - 2022 Management Salary Ordinance - Establishes            salaries and various employment criteria for          management personnel for 2022

3924 – 2023 Management Salary Ordinance - Establishes            salaries and various employment criteria for          management personnel for 2023

3926 – Bond Ordinance – Repairs to Water Pollution             Control Facility ($1,300,000) - Appropriates           this money to complete repairs on damages to the        Water Pollution Control Facility, which occurred      due to Hurricane Ida

22-346    Chapter 159 – Accept United States Department        of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation           Service – Emergency Watershed Protection          Program Grant - Requests the Director of             Local Government Services to approve the            insertion of a special item of revenue into             the 2022 budget for United States Department          of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation        Service – Emergency Watershed Protection             Program Grant in the amount of $263,160                    and that a like sum be appropriated in the                2022 budget for United States Department          of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation        Service – Emergency Watershed Protection             Program Grant in the amount of $263,160

22-347    Authorize Refund of Property Tax Overpayment               Authorizes a refund of a property tax                 overpayment for 160 Bellair Road, in the                amount of $4,720.78, to Corelogic,                      Centralized Refunds, P.O. Box 9202, Coppell,                TX. This overpayment occurred because the               Title Company had already paid the amount at               the closing for the house.

 

22-348    Accept 2021 Audit - Accepts the annual audit                for 2021 and certifies that all members of

          the Village Council have reviewed, at a                     minimum, the sections of the audit entitled           “Comments and Recommendations”

22-349    Approve 2021 Corrective Action Plan - Accepts        the Corrective Action Plan proposed to                    correct the deficiencies found in the 2021                Annual Audit

22-350    Declare Property Surplus – Various Vehicles –           Declares vehicles from various departments,                no longer needed for public use, surplus                property and authorizes the Village Manager                to dispose of said vehicles through GovDeals
