OLD BUSINESS:
1) Franklin Avenue Corridor-- Design drawings in works. Village had meeting with Bergen County in week of October 7th.
2) Crosswalk at Van Emburgh Avenue/ Hampshire Road-- ADA-compliant ramps installed.
3) Pedestrian/Bike SRTS Grants--Award Resolution From Village Council approved. Engineering preparing grant funding application.
4) CBDAC--Ms. Shinozuka reported via email that CBDAC is discussing potential measures to upgrade lighting at busy, pedestrian-heavy intersections. Holiday decorations are soon to be installed with attention given to line-of-sight considerations. Bids for renovations to tree wells and removal of tripping hazards were received. Engineering preparing contract documents for Village Council.
5) North Walnut Street-- Village awaits delivery of Interactive Speed Sign.
6) Union Street--Village awaiting Striping Contractor.
7) SSATF-- No Report.
8) Starbucks Driveway-Proposal made to Starbucks on October 15th to develop a permanent exit modification to enforce "RIGHT TURN ONLY". Village seeking similar treatment for entrance driveway.
9) Traffic Control Measures in The Lawns-- No progress to report this month.
10) West Glen Avenue Sidewalks-- Construction not likely to be commenced this construction season due to approaching winter temperatures.
11) Oak Street Crosswalks/School Bus Locations--Oak/ Robinson Crosswalk is to be striped via work order. Other locations examined were not recommended by Engineering and Police where issues with lighting and parking spaces are concerns.
