Field Meeting

 

Attendees:  K. Cook, R. Brooks, P. Thomas, N. Bigos, P. Vagianos, E. Seavers, S. Cox,

Z. Pace, H. Kwak, J. Gluck, M. Andreula, B. Lasky, B. Bielaszewski, Chris Herndon

 

1. Approval of Minutes – March 1, 2021

 

Motion to approve - all in favor.

 

2. Public Comment

 

No public comment.

 

3. Citizens Park/Veterans Field delay opening April 15^th  - Update

 

M. Andreula – north field on Vets is open. Working with Tri County to finish up rest of work.

K. Cook – agreed with Matt. Vets SE & SW not ready to open yet, must stay closed.

M. Andreula – hoping to open fields on April 15^th, weather permitting.

 

4. Spring/Summer Field Schedule

K. Cook – spring season has started.

 

5. Field Scheduling App – Progress update – Zach Pace

Z. Pace – Community Pass cannot accommodate us. DASH seems to be the best option and offers everything that is needed. A demonstration with DASH will be scheduled.

N. Bigos – Zach and I will schedule a meeting for a demonstration with DASH.

 

6. Summer Camp Applications – to date

K. Cook – listed all the summer camps that have been scheduled.

 

7. Equipment, Supplies, Maintenance of Fields

 

K. Cook – putting together pitching and hitting screens at fields that are used. New fence has been ordered for Vets 90 and Vets SE.

N. Bigos – asked for assistance in maintaining the equipment and properties.

M. Andreula – gave an update on Village Parks.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

8. Open Space Master Plan/Development and Trends
