Field Meeting

June 13^th Attendees:  K. Cook, R. Brooks, P. Thomas, E. Seavers, S. Cox, N. Bigos, M. Andreula, B. Lynch, H. Kwak, Artan M., P. Vagianos, Bob B., 201-321-5984, Scott Bisig

I.                        Approval of Minutes – September 13 and 20, 2022

Motion to approve - all in favor.

II.                        Public Comment

III.                        Daysmart Field Scheduling App

K. Cook – Daysmart has been canceled based on some roadblocks.

IV.                        New BOE Scheduling Policy

S. Bisig – send schedules to Alexandra for scheduling in Master Library. Link to schedule can be found on the school website.

              N. Bigos – requested a working meeting with Alexandra and Recreation staff

Questions, comments and concerns were discussed about Master Library. Conversations about adding Village fields to Master Library.

S. Bisig – would like to schedule a meeting with the fields committee for Master Library.

V.                        Fall Field Schedule

E. Seavers – sent out an updated fall schedule.

VI.                        Fall Facility Maintenance

K. Cook – after the season end, all nets will be removed and goal frames will be locked up. No field use from Teachers Convention to St. Patrick’s day. 4 turf blankets have been ordered, going to try them out this winter. 2 goals from Somerville will be removed, they are no longer in use.

M. Andreula – offered to help Keith with the turf blankets. All fields except for Vets have been seeded.

VII.                        Revisions for the Light Ordinance

K. Cook – no need for a revision.

VIII.                        New Business

K. Cook – possibly adding a removable mound placed on the diamond field.

IX.                        Next Meeting Date – November 1 at 7:00am ZOOM
