Ridgewood Fields Committee Meeting Minutes

Febuary 7, 2023 – 7:00 am via ZOOM

I.                        Approval of Minutes – January 3, 2023

II.                        Public Comment

III.                        Field Scheduling/Master Library Update

S. Winograd – Two meetings held with Master Library and the VOR. The VOR is in the process of contracting with Master Library.

IV.                        2023 Fields Committee Meeting Schedule

K. Cook – looking into both in person and hybrid meeting next month.

V.                        Portable Toilet Unit Update

K. Cook- Seven BOE portable toilets scheduled to be installed starting March 15 – June 8. Looking to extend coverage to keep availability at all fields. List will be sent to Ed at RBSA.

S. Winograd- Pickleball courts will have access to portable toilet.

VI.                        Schedler Property Development Update

P. Vagianos-Possible full size multi-purpose field. Baseball field will have to be contained in multi-purpose field- no 90 ft. baseball diamond. Schedler will be discussed at Village Council meeting on February 22.

Various members- Discussed the original plans included a 90 ft. baseball diamond that fit on the property.

S. Winograd- Since the berm was added to the property one acre of land use was lost. Currently investigating when\who changed the plans, which moved the original egress location and the location of the parking lot.
