16-164    Authorize Additional Award of Contract – Pipe, Appurtenances,and Service Materials –           Ridgewood Water (NTE $79,000) – Approves an additional award of contract to the original                 contractor, Water Works Supply Co., Inc., 660 Highway 23, Pompton Plains, NJ. This                  additional award is necessary due to additional service materials needed to                     maintain the operability of the distribution system.

16-165    Authorize Additional Award of Contract - Service and Repair of Electric Source –                Ridgewood Water (NTE $60,059.05) – Authorizes            an additional award of contract to the original contractor, Roberge Electric Co.,150 Johnson Avenue, Dumont, NJ. This                    additional award is necessary due to additional service materials needed to                    maintain the operability of the distribution system.

16-166    Award Extraordinary, Unspecifiable Services Contract – Secondary Scum Pit Pump Failure –              Water Pollution Control Facility (NTE $2,940)– Awards an EUS contract to Universal                  Electric Motor Service, Inc., 131 South Newman Street, Hackensack, NJ

16-167    Approve Change Order #1 – Furnish and Install Control Valves to Various Locations -                   RidgewoodWater (NTE $6,900) – Approves a change order to the original contractor, CFM                 Construction, Inc., 5 Bay Street, Stirling,NJ. This change order is necessary due to                additional work not anticipated at the time of the original contract.

16-168    Authorize Settlement Funds – Sej v. Village of Ridgewood (NTE $27,500) – Authorizes                    settlement funds for a lawsuit against the Village which was settled, prior to trial

16-169    Authorize Settlement Funds – Deigan v.Village of Ridgewood (Amount is Village’s               Self-Insured Retention) – Authorizes settlement funds in the amount of the                      Village’s self-insured retention (deducting expert and legal fees)

16-170    Authorize Mailing of 2016 Estimated Third  Quarter Tax Bills - Authorizes the Tax                     Collector to prepare and issue third quarter estimated tax bills to ensure that sufficient cash flow is available to meet obligations

16-175    Commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Bergen County Volunteer Center – Commemorates and                recognizes 2016 as the 50th Anniversary of the Bergen County Volunteer Center and delineates the ways in which the Village of Ridgewood has benefitted from and supported the Bergen            County Volunteer Center through its programs

16-176    Approve Application for Safe Route To Schools Grant – Endorses and approves a grant          application to the Safe Routes to School program which will be used to construct and               implement critical safety improvements for children that walk or ride their bikes to               school

16-177    Authorize Contract - Bergen County Open Space Trust Fund Grant Award – Schedler Park                Property – Phase 1 – Authorizes the Village to enter into a contract with the Bergen             County Open Space Trust Fund for the purpose of using a $55,710 matching grant award for             the Schedler Park Property – Phase 1. This grant will be disbursed to the Village up to               50% of the eligible costs incurred (not to exceed the total grant award), only for the              approved park improvements.
